The Red Mosque

Actually in Indonesia, there are a lot of Red Mosques. One of them was The Red Mosque located in Durensewu Village, Pandaan District, Pasuruan Regency, East Java. Because of the striking red and a bit white color, many people are curious. For this reason, this Red Mosque in Pandaan is unique. This Red Mosque is also known as the Moekhlas Sidik Mosque. Because this Mosque was built by local community leaders, his name is H. Moekhlas Sidik.

The others unique in the Red Mosque also has a beautiful view.  In here you will see a captivating view of Mount Arjuno. The location of the mosque, in a stretch of rice fields, give you the beautiful atmosphere and the shade of the trees in the Taman Dayu complex. It will make you calm and forget a little about the bustle of your daily activities.

Beside the mosque, there is a restaurant "Waroeng Sumringah" that makes visitors to enjoy the atmosphere of the Red Mosque. Moreover, the menu is also varied with alot of Indonesian food such as rica-rica, fried rice, noodle, etc. There is also a playground for kids.

On February 10th 2020, I went to this mosque with my friends. We wanna know how The Red Mosque look alike. Because it was a viral thing. This mosque has a large and spacious place. At that time, it was dhuhr time, so we prayed dhuhr in this mosque. The Red Mosque is a comfortable place for worship because it is supported by a lot of ablution rooms and toilets. So, we don't have to queue for ablution. Of course, we took some photos for this memorable moment. Because at that time, it was still a covid-19 pandemic, so we had to keep wear a mask. Unfortunately, we didn't go and eat in Waroeng Sumringah, because we went home.

Here's the picture that we took when we go there :

This can be a recommended place for those of you who want to enjoy a weekend vacation with your family. Thank you for reading my blog 💖
