Stranger

Saturday and Sunday (weekend) are the right time to go home for university students like me. For example, when taking public transportation, surely we will meet other people or can be called strangers. In the train, the seats on the train are facing each other. So, we sit face to face with people we don't know at all. 5 hours of traveling by train to go home, makes me feel tired. But on that day it wasn't as tiring as usual. What's different? because I went home with my friends by train. When I go home with friends, it feels fast. Especially when you met friendly strangers. Here, I will tell you my story about strangers that I've met in the train.

The first story, We've met an intellegent person. During a train ride, one of this stranger was a man who was around 25-27 years old. Because my friends and I were talking about the world of university, suddenly this man joined in our conversation. And when my friend asked him, it turns out that this man has just entered first semester for his doctoral education. It means he is a lecturer, because he already graduated from Master and continue his study. And he gave us knowledge about the world of university, some advices and he also said to us that we should enjoy the world of university because we will miss college assignments. And he also prayed for us to be able to continue our study up to doctoral education. We hope so, too. We can see that we never know that stranger can give us such a new knowledge.

The second story is only me going home alone without friends. I've met generous people, they are a grandmother and her granddaughter. They asked me about what major I was taking in college, where was my college and where I lived. Of course, I have to be careful with strangers. but I felt that they are good people. This granny also gave me food, usually I don't want to but she insisted. To respect her, I took one. And during the trip, this grandmother also told about her son who was also in college. I didn't even feel tired in the train because there were people who invited me to talk. Her granddaughter and I are becoming a friend, we still keep in touch in social media. 

But on average, people who ride the train are quiet and busy with their own activities. This makes the train journey even more distant and tiring for me. I know that not everyone likes to talk with strangers. I think it's fine. Sometimes, I felt that too, I don't want to talk with strangers if they aren't going first. T
